Basavanna: Work Is Worship

Kayaka: dignity of labour
The 12th-century reformer taught that honest work of any kind is a form of worship. No occupation is lowly when done sincerely, which challenged caste-based hierarchies of work.

Anubhava Mantapa
Basavanna created a hall of spiritual experience where people of all castes and genders debated openly. It is often cited as an early model of democratic, inclusive deliberation.

Dasoha: sharing what you earn
He asked people to share surplus with the community rather than hoard it. Earning through work and giving through service formed one ethical cycle.
