Ethics

  1. IDEA 1

    God or nature

Everything is part of one substance, which Spinoza calls God or Nature. There is no separate creator.

  2. IDEA 2

    Emotions have causes

Understanding the causes of emotions reduces their power over us.

  3. IDEA 3
